Yuwa - Magical Stripe

 I love this fabric and think it could be an ongoing source of inspiration.  The fabric has no horizontal repeat - the dots, stripes and scallops are varied across the entire width, so a single length of fabric will give you lots of variation.  (In the image shown, the top half of the image is the outside of the bolt, the bottom half the inside, in other words, left of the fold, and right of the fold - so you can see the full width).  I don't know a lot about Yoko Okamoto except that I really like this fabric.  All of the websites that talk about her are in Japanese and the Google translation software isn't much help.  I can only say - it's fun, the colours are fantastic, and the quality of the cloth is among the best I've ever had delivered.  

Spark - This would be really fun for drapes, or a yard wiil give you a great set of coordinated cushion covers.  Think also about a skirt - it would be pretty fun to have the variation through the length.
