There is nothing quite so versatile as a good tunic. With a scarf and leggings or over a pair of jeans, layered with a long sleeve T-shirt or worn over a bathing suit on the dock, a tunic is the perfect thing to have in your closet (or a suitcase). The Tova is flattering, pretty and has just enough detail to not look too homemade. If you're trying to decide on whether or not to make a tunic or which one to make, there is a lot of creative Tova inspiration on Pinterest here.
The Tova is also a flexible pattern. The designer, posted here about a variation she made that I like quite a lot. It's the image of the tunic in the blue and white dot fabric. (FYI- the instructions for this variation are not in the pattern but her blog post is pretty clear about her changes).
Intermediate level sewing skills required. Comes with sizes XS-M or M-XL choose the correct variation for you when ordering. Instructions with black and white photos and sketches are included, as well as pattern pieces for both top and dress.
See the Size Chart image to determine the right pattern size.
These measurements apply to body measurements, not garment measurements. To achieve an accurate measurement, wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of the bust. The waist should be measured at the narrowest part and the hips at the widest part.
It works with almost every fabric in the shop.
