This is an ideal gift for a new Mom or grandchild.

Whether you’re new to quilting or have been making quilted projects for some time, the Wholecloth Baby Quilt will change the way you think about quilt construction! Using one piece of fabric for the top (the “whole cloth”) and another single piece for the back, this little quilt proceeds directly to finishing techniques- offering clear and simple answers to the “what should I do next?” question. The Wholecloth Baby Quilt is made entirely by machine in this two-part class.

Teacher - Johanna Masko

Details - Two 3 hour classes, see the dates above.

Supply list:

You will get a detailed email 2 or 3 weeks before the class listing all of the fabric requirements for the quilt and the notions you should bring to class, but you can anticipate the following. You'll need 1.25m of fabric for each of the top (quilting cotton), and backing/binding. In our sample the top is the patterned fabric and the backing and binding are solid. Please pre-wash and press your fabric.

You will also need batting, (34 x 42” piece of thin COTTON batting) (can be larger, will cut to size in class). You will need coordinating thread, your sewing kit (pins, seam ripper, washable/removeable marking pencil or chalk, ruler, pencil).

For this class, you will need a Bottle of liquid white washable school glue, at least 150ml/5.0 oz (Elmers or similar)

NOTE - we are capping the class at 6 participants. If we have less than 3 participants, we will cancel the class and refund your full purchase price. Otherwise, workshops are non-refundable. If you cancel with at least a week's notice, we will give you a store credit. If you find you can't make it, with less than one week's notice, you are welcome to send someone in your place.
