This is a virtual workshop hosted on Zoom. 

For those of you who are quilting curious, and intrigued by the many articles referencing the health benefits of hand sewing, we have the perfect way to bring you into the quilting fold. Spend an evening with Johanna and she will make you into a quilter. 

Please note: To ensure that your kits are shipped in time for the start of the workshop, the cut-off sign-up date for this class will be Friday, January 1, 2027.

Your kit will include cotton thread, good quality hand sewing needles, cotton fabric for front and back and cotton batting.

Difficulty - Absolute Beginners

Teacher - Johanna Masko

Cost - $100 plus shipping (You will be invoiced for the shipping cost once you have signed up.)

Supply Kit - A kit will be shipped to you prior to the class. 

    • no sewing machine needed
    • no expensive rotary cutters, acrylic rulers or cutting mats
    • no patterns
    • no fancy tools

Note - We are capping the class at 12 participants. If we have less than 3 participants, we will cancel the class and refund your full purchase price. Otherwise, workshops are non-refundable. If you cancel with at least a week's notice, we will give you a store credit. If you find you can't make it, with less than one week's notice, you are welcome to send someone in your place.
