Pineapple Log Cabin with Johanna Masko
A classic block made more modern and interesting with Johanna
This Log Cabin patchwork variation is made distinct with its symmetrical composition and its dynamic propeller-like design. This block is often foundation pieced, but is easy to construct using standard rulers and strategic trimming. Use a simple 2-colour scheme, or go wild and work with a wide variety of lights and darks from your stash. Build towards a batch of 8”, 10” or 12” finished blocks- quilter’s choice!
