Nel Whatmore Orient - Acer Sunset

Nel Whatmore is a rare breed. She is a successful fine artist and a successful designer, with a track record in both camps. She lives and works in Northern England and has had lots of recognition there for her work. I just like that she isn't afraid of colour and, like many of the Free Spirit designers, likes an intense palette and Asian influences. 

Orient is her latest collection, inspired by the mementos and treasures brought home by her Grandfather from the exotic and distant places he visited when she was a little girl. It's a pretty romantic beginning for a pretty group of prints. 

Spark - Great impact and shots of colour when mixed with other prints, and pretty fabrics for garment sewing. The main print, Sunset Orient would make great cushion covers for an unbleached or grey seat.

Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
