Karen Lewis - Privy Garden Quilt Block of the Month (BOM)

This listing is for the pattern and fabric needed to make the Privy Garden BOM quilt top and binding. You will add the batting and backing.

The beautiful Privy Garden quilt takes its name from the baroque private garden at the back of Hampton Court Palace (which happens to be the naming inspiration for the fabric collection Hampton Court by Karen Lewis). The layout of the formal gardens is reflected in the layout of the quilt design where a big feature of wrought iron screens at the back can be found by the River Thames. The use of the Trellis print reflects the layout of this beautiful structured garden.

Traverse BOM Details: The fabric in the kit is the Hampton Court collection by Karen Lewis. The kit includes all the fabric you need to make the quilt top and binding. Add your own backing and batting (quantities listed below).

Difficulty – Confident beginner

The Schedule - The BOM starts in November and runs for 6 months. 

To Finish - For the backing you will need 1 1/4 yards of fabric, 40" x 40" batting, and 5/8 of a yard for the binding.

Bonus Pattern - Karen is including her "Wire Flower" Mini Quilt pattern with the BOM. Use the scraps from your BOM and add your own background to make the cute wall quilt (pictured last).
