Indian Cotton 2025 - Jaipur Screen Printed Cotton Cambric- Citrus and Grey on Cream

Although the screen printing process allows for more efficiency, and is considered a "mechanical" printing method in the Jaipur cotton region, the printing is still incredibly hands on with artisans moving and pulling the prints, one colour and one screen at a time. It's thrilling to see them work and the accuracy of their movements. This method often allows for a finer line and sometimes a more intricate pattern. These prints were thrilling for us and no less beautiful for having had a little mechanization added to the process. 

We recommend washing in cold water and hang drying (which we actually recommend for all of your garment and quilt fabrics - it's easier on them and the environment).  

Important note - Hand printed and dyed fabrics will have irregularities and imperfections. They may also have the odd bit of sand because they are usually created in an open air environment. Please expect these anomalies and appreciate them as a feature of a hand crafted process. 

Spark - Like the block printed cottons, these prints are perfect for garment making and will transform into a beautiful top or dress. 

Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
