In this 3 hours workshop you'll learn the basics of embroidery. You'll learn about the different threads and needles. Using our own sampler pattern, Shirley you'll learn to make 8 different stitches, With those skills, you'll be able to go on an create all kinds of embroidery projects on your own. 

We're using the Wonderfil Rinse Away product for our pattern, so you'll learn to apply it to your fabric, stitch through it and then remove it when you're done.

Difficulty - confident beginners and all other levels, 14 years of age and up

Teacher -Shirley Dawson

Supply List - We are supplying most of what you'll need for the class including the transfer pattern, a fat quarter of light or white quilting cotton, use of the needle, hoop and threads for the duration of the class. You will get an email in advance of the class confirming details but you should plan to bring your own snips or scissors, and your favourite needle if you have one. 

Note - We are capping the class at 8 participants. If we have less than 3 participants, we will cancel the class and refund your full purchase price. Otherwise, workshops are non-refundable. If you cancel with at least a week's notice, we will give you a store credit. If you find you can't make it, with less than one week's notice, you are welcome to send someone in your place.
