Denyse Schmidt Wagon Wheel Quilt Pattern

Based on a quilt in one of Denyse's favorite quilt books (Abstract Design in American Quilts: A Biography of an Exhibition by Jonathan Holstein and Shelley Zegart), the Wagon Wheel pattern is a graphic reminder of how quilters through the centuries have drawn inspiration from the objects and circumstances of their times. We love the motion the wheels imply, and the large scale of the blocks for a fast finish.

The wheels can be made using yardage, or use fat quarters to showcase a variety of prints. 

The pattern includes easy-to-follow instructions with diagrams, measurements, and full-size paper templates to make this quilt in crib/baby, twin, queen, or king size.
