Cross Back Apron Workshop

Learn to make the classic, one size fits all, cross back apron. We'll be using the Tessuti Apron, a tunic-style, cross-back that provides great coverage, and is comfortable to wear. It features a square neck, wide straps and a large, practical front pocket. With neat yet durable, turned and hemmed edges.

Once you master this make, you can give everyone you love a fantastic apron for the holidays. It makes a great gift.

Bring a label if you have one you like to sew onto the pocket.

Difficulty - confident beginners and all other levels, 14 years of age and up

Supply List - The workshop includes a printed pattern and instruction sheets. You will get a detailed supply list in advance of the class but you will need fabric in the following quantities and coordinating thread for the class. Not appropriate for directional fabric!

45" fabric - 1.5 metres or 1 3/4 yards

55" fabric - 1.1 metre or 1 1/4 yards

You will also need your sewing kit with scissors or snips, pins, rotary cutter. We also encourage you to bring a pen and notepaper to capture any notes. 

We have a sewing kit you can borrow for the class, and all of the notions and tools are available for sale too.

Note - we are capping the class at 6 participants. If we have less than 3 participants, we will cancel the class and refund your full purchase price. Otherwise, workshops are non-refundable. If you cancel with at least a week's notice, we will give you a store credit. If you find you can't make it, with less than one week's notice, you are welcome to send someone in your place.
