Colette Juniper pattern #1024. One of her beginner patterns that doesn't look like a beginner pattern. A classic wide-leg pair pf pants, "fitted through the hips and falling gently to a moderately wide hem". You'll put in slash pockets and a fly front (I haven't made this pattern but a fly front in a beginner pattern is pretty impressive - it's on my to do list).
I love wide leg pants, they're the perfect balance of retro and modern and they're really comfortable. You can wear them with flats or heels and depending on what's on top, you can wear them almost anywear.
They suggest medium weight fabrics like cotton twill, poplin, linen and linen blends, suiting, gabardine, pique, wool blends and for the pocket lining, choose a lightweight lining fabric such as batiste, lawn or silk crepe de chine. (There are Flickr pics of interesting lining choices for the pockets, have fun with it). The fabric requirements and notions are listed in the images here, please check carefully and measure yourself before you select your size.
