April Cornell Gypsy Dance Stripe Blue
It may be about Gypsies but this collection by April Cornell reminded me of a beautiful little cloisonne box my Mom had from earlier exotic travels. The turquoise has a deep Asian feel and the bright yellow is the perfect balance. Pretty fabrics with a hint of the exotic.
Spark I'm starting to feel the need to sew with yellow and turquoise - it's the most summery combination I can think of (and might be a perfect tonic for a lap quilt to pull around you in cooler, greyer months of the year).
