Remy Raglan by Sew House Seven Workshop - Friday May 3 11:00 - 4:00

In this workshop, you'll learn to make the wonderful versatile Remy Raglan, our new favourite summer "cover up". This pattern has so many variations, it's become a staple for many of us. 

For the workshop, we'll be making version 2 with the split neck and 3/4 sleeves with no cuff, and you'll have the option to make it longer like our yellow sample (pictured) so that it's a flattering and pretty bathing suit cover up.

Pattern Notes - Suggested Fabric - Light-weight woven fabrics that are not too stiff such as linen, linen/rayon, cotton voile, silk noil, and cotton gauze. We used the Indian block print cottons for our sample. Sizing and fabric requirements are on the image of the pattern back.

NOTE - if you want to make the bathing suit cover up, like our sample, please add 2/3 yard to the fabric quantity, we add 12" to the length 

You will get a detailed email before the class, but please plan to bring your fabric (pre-washed), coordinating thread, one button (aprox 12 mm to 20mm), and your sewing kit including fabric scissors, pins, tailor's chalk or your favourite marking tool and a hand sewing needle. 

NOTE - we are capping the class at 6 participants. If we have less than 3 participants, we will cancel the class and refund your full purchase price. Otherwise, workshops are non-refundable. If you cancel with at least a week's notice, we will give you a store credit. If you find you can't make it, with less than one week's notice, you are welcome to send someone in your place.
