Seeds and Stems by Kathy Doughty Fig Leaf in Dawn
This was one of those cases where this fabric leapt out and talked to me. It's an unusual colour combination and I love the unexpected hit of orangey red and deep periwinkle. It's from a designer who isn't shy about colour and likes intense pattern so I shouldn't have been surprised.
Spark - The repeat on this is a good size (almost 24") so it's a great option for garment sewing, but I thought it would make a stunning quilt back. You could build a surprising and beautiful fabric pull around these colours mixing sweet pale low volumes with the deep gold and darker colours. Unique and beautiful with a colour palette that's a revelation.
