Polk by Carolyn Friedlander - Spots Essex in Paris Blue
I was really excited when I saw Polk. One of my favourite fabrics to sew garments with is Essex linen/cotton blends but sometimes I want a little more life and interest. Polk is the perfect marriage of Carolyn's unique and delicate design touch and Essex earthy, natural and substantial base cloth.
Spark - At the risk of referencing tunics too often in my sewing ideas, I'm going to say (again) that these fabrics are the perfect choice for sewing a fun loose and wearable top or tunic or casual dress. Breathable, washable, wearable, and beautiful.
Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
