Nonna by Giucy Giuce - Lamp in Babylon
Guicy Guice (aka Giuseppe Ribaudo) is becoming one of Andover's most prolific designers with a new collection in every release. Having said that, Nonna is a big one, and clearly important to him. It's a tribute to his grandparents, whom he grew up with. The floral prints are inspired by his Nonna's upholstery, and her special desert plates. When they went on the table it always meant something really good was coming. The other designs are a tribute to other elements in their home and his memories of them. Apart from the sentimental inspiration, which is beautiful, I was impressed with the mood and contrasts in this group. I love the colours and the layering of heritage over modern patterns, and I love the mix in scale.
Spark - I would put these all together in a quilt. You could fussy cut around those big glorious bouquets and use the rest of the fabric to frame them.
Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
For example
1 = 1/2 yard | 2 = 1 yard | 3 = 1 1/2 yards | 4 = 2 yards |
