Empire Tradewind - Sandstone

From the Empire collection by Parson Gray.  I love his design aesthetic.  I feel like I've been away somewhere and brought back a striking little treasure from my journey.  This collection is no different.  These colours and the spare but rich and detailed design evokes a southeast Asian aesthetic that I've seen in block prints and embroidery from that part of the world.  But, here it is in beautiful quilting cotton. 

Spark - I love them all together, but I would make a summer top or dress out of any of them.  I really like tradewind for a summer blouse.  You could fussy cut the design just a little to have the sleeves or neckline sit just so on the little lacy looking bits.  

Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
