Dashwood New Horizons - Sweet
Ali Brookes is a new designer at Dashwood Studios. Her first collection was inspired by her love of maps and, observed on a flight to Portugal, the way things look from above. I relate to this collection so much. I love the inspiration, I too find myself glued to the window of airplanes when the land below takes on a strangely organized pattern. I also love her colour palette. This his all the high notes for me.
Spark - I would love to see this colour combination in a quilt. It wouldn't be hard to add to and I would consider different textures, like an Olive Essex or silvery Manchester
