Cotton & Steel Flowers for Madeline by Megan Carter - Althea in Rosebloom
We're fans of Megan Carter. We like her design references, including "historical patterns, and the art nouveau movement". She's a very talented designer living in West Yorkshire and creating beautiful fabric designs for Cotton + Steel.
These graphic florals feel a little mod to me, and inspired by the 60's cool of bright colours and simplified lines. Note - the background is a very dark navy.
Spark - I do love high contrast with pink so I would use these in a quilt and the Free Spirit Peach Fuzz makes a pretty background choice.
Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
