Charley Harper Organic Cotton - Maritime Birds

From Charley Harper's stunning collection Nurture.  This is a great example of his famous minimalist approach to design and poster art. The fabrics all feature animals or elements of nature, but they are depicted by their most characteristic shapes and cleanest lines so you get a very graphic image that reveals the animal within (or the mushroom or feather) almost as a shared twinkle between you and the designer. This is a great palette, it's playful but also easy going and a little more neutral than some of the other Birch fabrics.  There is a lot of grey in the collection and the return of that beautiful pale teal colour.
