I like what Carrie herself said of this collection, "Wish is full of magic and playful mystery. It embodies and honors craft and artisans through collaged found papers and painted sheet music. I made prints evoking a handcrafted life. One print was inspired by a small piece of Gujarati embroidery from India and another was born from my lifelong love of postage stamps. And, of course, there are triangles." There is a lovely echo of Indian imagery in this group - it struck me immediately. I love the bright colours, loose designs and textile traditions of India.
