A classic quilt pattern made modern again by Jen Kingwell. The Steam Punk is based on the original propeller block.  It works beautiful when made as a very scrappy quilt, with lots of different colours and patterns at play. A great stash buster.

1.1M (1 1/4 yd) fabric for sashing

75cm (7/8 yd) fabric for inset triangles

4 M (4 1/2 yds) backing fabric 

55 cm (5/8 yd) binding fabric
