A simple slip dress to wear alone or under dresses that are a little sheer. It can also be a nightdress. Merchant & Mills said, "we designed this slip dress as lots of our fabrics Indian handlooms are semi sheer so this gives you an extra bit of coverage." We got it infor the same reason, a lot of our Indian fabrics are also a little bit sheer, so are some of the cotton lawns. It's also almost impossible to find a simple slip dress that will cover your bra straps so that appealed to us too. 

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.

Skill level - intermediate.

Fabric suggestions - Suitable for lightweight wovens such as cotton lawn or voile, cotton poplin, tencel, Indian handlooms, cotton double gauze. Don't go for anything too thick if wearing it as a slip.
