Geometry by Ruby Star Society - Ladders in Sorbet

The idea for Geometry, a collaborative collection by all five RSS designers, came from Melody who pitched it as a simpler, vintage-inspired hand-drawn group of prints that included geometric elements like lines, stripes and dots - her vision was the double knit polyester fabrics from the late mid-century - "the designs are good even though the fabric was bad".

After a month of working together, submitting ideas, colours, Melody then culled and recoloured, creating a cohesive group of vintage inspired hand drawn interpretations of her original inspiration.

Spark - I really like the idea of pairing any two prints from this group in a colour blocked garment. Think about breaking up a Nicks dress or top into different prints!
