Eclipse by Sarah Sczepanski - Artemis in Solar

This wonderful group by Sarah Sczepanski was created with a unique and artful printing method that I'll let her explain...

"The designs are made from my original monotypes. Monotypes are a one-of-a-kind printmaking practice created by painting directly onto a plate and running the plate through a printing press. In my monotypes for Eclipse, I utilized unique and unexpected textures of both natural and man-made objects such as vegetable wrappers, bubble wrap, netting, or discarded plastic packaging in my work.."

She said she likes this method because it always carries an element of surprise in the final work. I like the mix of inky blue, grey and charcoal 

Spark - Free Spirit showed these fabrics in a garment and bag but I think they'd make a wonderful quilt for a guy going off to school, or coming home from it. Maybe the Looper?
