Indian Cotton 2025 - Jaipur Cotton Wovens with Motif - Orange Motif on Charcoal

While shopping for these fabrics in India, I really thought I was done until I saw this little motif peaking out at me on a shelf and I discovered a whole other range of beautiful woven fabrics, made locally, and made special by the unique and somewhat modern design elements of the motifs and the wonderful colour combinations. 

For the most part these are quite lightweight, similar to the Ruby Star, Figo, or Fableism wovens. The two exceptions are the natural background wovens that have a bit more texture and stiffness, as though the cotton is more raw. All are terrific for garment sewing and will make a striking new dress or top

We recommend washing in cold water and hang drying (which we actually recommend for all of your garment and quilt fabrics - it's easier on them and the environment).  

Important note - Hand printed and dyed fabrics will have irregularities and imperfections. They may also have the odd bit of sand because they are usually created in an open air environment. Please expect these anomalies and appreciate them as a feature of a hand crafted process.
