Jen Kingwell's Shadow Moon Quilt with Lucy Anne Holliday - 3 sessions
Over three classes you'll develop the confidence and technique you need to make the Shadow Moon quilt. Another of Jen Kingwell’s lovely Quilt patterns, this one is from her “Tempters” line of Pattern + Templates combo packs. The pattern is a great use of colour in design. It actually has a “Shadow” within each Moon block.
In class we will explore the use of colour and shading to create this effect, so bring along a lot of fabric pieces of different colours, shades and hues to play with.
You'll have a chance to learn curved piecing by hand and by machine. Over the course of the workshop, you'll finish several blocks and will have the confidence and skill to complete the quilt (if not in the class, than after on your own).
The workshop includes the pattern booklet, the block templates and the instruction.
Details - 3 sessions, once a week
Requirements - The Pattern and templates are included in the workshop. We will provide a list of requirements closer to the start of the class, but you will need to bring fabric, thread, and your sewing kit to each class (pins, rotary cutter, marking tool, thimble, etc). We have Pfaff Passport sewing machines available for your use during the class, and a sewing kit available to borrow if you have don't have yours.

Note - we are capping the class at 6 participants. If we have less than 3 participants, we will cancel the class and refund your full purchase price. Otherwise, workshops are non-refundable. If you cancel with at least two week's notice, we will give you a store credit. If you find you can't make it, with less than two week's notice, you are welcome to send someone in your place, otherwise you will forfeit your spot and the class fee.
