Details - Boat Neck Tee by Tessuti

A classic, and a favourite, the Mandy Boat Tee by Tessuti is a wide, boxy style made for jersey knits. Featuring drop shoulders, it has a boat neckline and optional three quarter or full length fitted sleeves. Relaxed and easy-to-wear, Mandy really is the perfect wardrobe staple and a quick and satisfying sewing project.

Difficulty: Beginner (you know how to use a sewing machine, but are still learning how to sew). 

Pre-Requisites: Our Learn To Sew - Machine Basics class or equivalent experience. We also recommend that you've sewn a garment using a woven fabric. This class will be a little more challenging and will focus on the unique steps for sewing with knits.

Supplies Provided:

In this workshop we provide a digital copy of the wide leg version of the shorter top pattern and the instructions to make it.

Need to bring:

You'll get a detailed email a couple of weeks before the workshop letting you know what to bring but you can anticipate that you will need to bring your fabric, thread, and a basic sewing kit (scissors, pins, marking pencil, etc.). We also encourage you to come to the shop ahead of your class to pick out your fabric and thread so that you're ready to go when the class starts.

If you do not have the sewing tools, we have sewing kits you can borrow, or you can purchase most of them in the store.

Cancellations and Refunds

We are capping the class at 6 participants. If we have less than 3
participants, we will cancel the class and refund your full purchase
price. Otherwise, workshops are non-refundable. If you cancel with at
least a week's notice, we will give you a store credit. If you find you
can't make it, with less than one week's notice, you are welcome to send
someone in your place.
