As they say at Closet Core, "Nothing compares to an oversized menswear-inspired shirt when it comes to iconic wardrobe staples", I agree! The Jenna Button-up shirt is beautifully proportioned with lots of classic shirt details, Jenna features a loose fit, drop shoulder, deep back yoke, chest pocket, traditional shirt collar and collar stand, and a long sleeve with a classic tower placket and cuff. It will pair with everything.

View A is the perfect everyday button-up shirt, ending below the seat with a deeply curved hem. View B is a cropped button-up shirt with a straight hem. View C is a shirtdress with a gathered skirt panel.

Please note this pattern is available in Alpha Sizing, a new addition to our size range.  This pattern spans from XXS (31" bust, 33" hip) to 4X (60" bust, 62" hip).

SUGGESTED FABRIC

  • Light to midweight wovens and shirtings.
  • For a crisp, classic shirt, choose structured wovens like poplin, chambray, oxford, broadcloth, and dobby and twill shirtings.
  • For a softer effect, choose linen, Tencel, voile, viscose, silk, or flannel.
