THE SAMPLE SALE - SUCCESS!!
UPDATE - Thank you to everyone who came out. We raised $5000.00 for Beautiful World and will change the life of a couple of very deserving girls.
It's here - This Sunday from noon to 4:00 we are having our big famous (and last) fabric sample sale benefitting Beautiful World Canada. It's our biggest haul ever. We have amazing fabric samples and yardage from our generous and wonderful suppliers. We also have stunning stash donations from members of our community.
Everything is priced to sell!
We have
- quilting cotton
- beautiful garment fabrics (many with significant yardage)
- bag making fabrics (linen/cotton blends, etc)
- Japanese imports
- batiks
- holiday fabric
- kids fabric
- lots of notions
- beading supplies
- yarn
- books
- and lots more
Honestly, it's amazing. We have a lot of impressive donated prizes too including fabric, an Oliso iron, and a BIG thread kit. We'll be handing out prizes throughout the day
Space is Limited
The sale is at Fabric Spark. We have limited space so we'll have to limit the number of people in the store at once. Don't worry! There is so much fabric, we will be replenishing throughout the day. Also - we will be discounting further in the final hour of the sale from 3:00 - 4:00 (we want everything to sell) so if you're on a really tight budget, waiting will have some benefits.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
1. Please bring your own bag! We do not supply bags
2. Please be patient - this is a volunteer run event
3. If you shop the sample sale, you'll get 10% off at Fabric Spark to use on Sunday 4/27.
4. We will be restocking throughout the day, and discounting in the last hour. So don't feel you have to be there first thing.
5. Our washroom will be closed during the event*
Note - we are going to be a bit crowded so please no food or beverages in the shop. If you're worried about your ability to stand in line, let us know at the door. We can find a chair to bring out for you to use while you're in the line up.
*There is a washroom at the ValueMart at the corner of Woodbine and Danforth.
