Pauline Alice Xerea Dress
I'm so excited about Pauline Alice patterns from the talented and stylish Pauline who started her pattern business in Spain in 2013. She has created casual and stylish patterns. I appreciate most the silhouette of her patterns, she has created great shape in all of them.
I am completely in love with this dress. I love the 60's swing in the shape and the integrated pockets. I think this will be a staple in my future sewing, with and without the sleeves.
Note - Pauline has created fantastic tutorials on her blog for many of her patterns including a tutorial on sewing bias binding on the Xerea neckline here and a great piping tutorial (if you look closely, a couple of her pictures of this dress feature fun contrast piping).
Spark - I encourage you to search Pinterest for lots of fantastic ideas for fabrics to make this dress in, but I would like a sleeveless dress in this. I think the weight would be great to show off the shape of the back.
