Pauline Alice Cami Dress
I'm so excited about Pauline Alice patterns from the talented and stylish Pauline who started her pattern business in Spain in 2013. She has created casual and stylish patterns. I appreciate most the silhouette of her patterns, she has created great shape in all of them.
The Cami Dress is a beautiful take on the shirt dress, but with the full skirt it's feminine and won't gape in the lap when you sit down (my chief complaint about shirt dresses). I love all of the versions on her website with a skinny belt too.
Note - Pauline has created fantastic tutorials on her blog for many of her patterns including a step by step sew along for the Cami Dress.
Spark - I encourage you to search Pinterest for lots of fantastic ideas for fabrics to make this dress in, but I think my first version might be in this pretty linen/cotton blend.
Fabric Requirements for 60" wide fabric are (note, for 45" fabric I asked Pauline how much we'd need and she suggested that 3 yards would be plenty for the long sleeve version, View A and if you're making a small size short sleeve version just stick with the 2 1/4 yards)
View A - 2 m. or 2 1/4 yards
View B 2.5 m. or 2 3/4 yards
Note - these are European sizes so please measure before you choose your size and cut out your fabric.
