Lazy Seamstress Weekend Doris Dress
I discovered the Lazy Seamstress while searching for patterns in the UK and was so delighted. Jeanette Archer is a mother of six! and somehow finds the time and talent to develop her own patterns for her entirely hand made wardrobe. She's made so many versions of these patterns on her excellent blog, you will find lots of inspiration and ideas.
The patterns are smart, straightforward and have easy to follow instructions for versatile and fun clothes.
Suitable fabrics include: sweater knit, Ponte di Roma, Interlock knit, double jersey or any medium weight knit fabric. NOTE - Jeanette has also posted about sewing this pattern in woven fabrics - that's what originally caught my eye

Sweater skims the hips, and is perfect for comfortable weekends with capri pants, jeans or skirt."
