Sorry, we're sold out - $150.00 CAD
Inspired by a late summer’s eve city scape, including bright lights, dark skies and modern tower blocks, this AWARD WINNING* quilt uses improv, small piecing, and a new approach to quilting developed by our wonderful teacher called Overlay Quilting.
You will explore value, learn how to Improv strip-piece and build dark skies and modern tower blocks and will complete a "sample size" quilt top that can be used for a pillow down the road. Then you'll learn several modern quilting motifs including grid work, matchstick and overlay quilting. This workshop provides a great space for exploring freedom of choice. All students are encouraged to work past the guidelines and create a one of a kind 18-inch square modern quilt. You can take your skills home to create a larger version
