If you're a beginner or wannabe sewist, or if it's been a long time since you last threaded a machine, this workshop series is for you.

Workshop 1. How to use your sewing machine -

You will develop these important skills: machine operation and general knowledge threading bobbin replacement, stitch regulation, general care and maintenance, all while making a lovely tea towel. You will also learn about cutting fabric, basic machine stitches and finishing a sewn project.

You will go home with a glossary of terms and descriptions and a pretty tea towel!

If you sign up for both Sewing Basics 1 and 2, you save $20.00. You will automatically get the discount when you check out.

Taught by Kristiann Boos; designer, pattern maker, sewing instructor and author. Kris is the founder & designer for the Victory pattern company and has published Boundless style - a book of patterns.  kris has taught in Canada and the US.

Please Note -  Workshops are non-refundable.  If you cancel with 2 weeks notice, we will give you a store credit.  If you cancel with less than 2 weeks notice, we'll give you a store credit for 50% of the value of the workshop. If you don't show up for a class (no notice) you will unfortunately forfeit your class payment. All class fees are prepaid, either online or in the shop at the time of booking.
