If you have always wanted to learn how to make a quilt by machine, this 8 week series of classes will walk you through every step from start to completion of making a quilt - one step at a time.
You will learn quilt making from an experienced and award winning quilter and teacher. Have fun learning to choose fabric, how to safely use a rotary cutter, accurate piecing, as well as layering, marking, machine quilting, and finally, binding your quilt. You'll learn to make some classic blocks, Half Square Triangles (HSTs), Nine Patch blocks and Snowball blocks. So you will have the skills and experience to go forward onto new, exciting quilt projects of your own.
At the end of this series you can walk away with a finished quilt right before the holidays!! What a great gift idea for someone special (or yourself, of course :)
Taught by Jeannie Jenkins - a life-long sewist and award-winning quiltmaker. Jeannie shares her quiltmaking passion by teaching both beginner and intermediate classes. She is a professional longarm quilter and designer of beautiful quits. She is also a published author and has just relased her first book Contemporary Paper-Pieced Quilts published by Landauer Publishing.
