This workshop covers the basics of English paper piecing, a technique that allows you to create complex and interesting designs with perfect points every time. Many shapes can be used, the most familiar is the hexagon but it is not the only shape. In addition to the hexagon a variety of different shapes and designs will be explored including squares, pentagons and octagons.
You'll learn different template options, template prep, fabric selection, rapid fire cutting techniques, basting methods and block construction. A variety of design options for a creating a wall hanging or a full size quilt will also be discussed.
Once you learn EPP techniques from Karen (plus all of her tips and suggestions), you'll open up a whole new realm of creative possibilities.
