Gather in Organic Cotton by Juliet Meeks - Sunshower

This is the first collection by a new designer to Cloud 9. Juliet Meeks is a fun young surface designer from New Orleans. Her bright colours and artful illustration style grabbed my attention at Quilt Market last fall.  She's also a maker so I may have picked up that vibe too.  I thought these prints were fresh interesting, original and a lot of fun.

Spark - The images are from the Cloud 9 website, and Juliet's own to start the ideas going. When I saw it, I thought immediately that it was a great series for summer clothing sewing, especially for kids but for me too!  I think the Milkflower would make a great Washi dress. And I love the idea of big baggy pants in one of the other prints...

Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
