Faith at Fresh Lemons designed and developed this beautiful pattern and curated the fabric for the kit. Faith is a talented quilter and her blog has been a continuing source of inspiration for us at Fabric Spark. I made my first quilt using one of her tutorials so she was the first person I asked to curate a quilt kit. Twilight is a paper piecing quilt and calls for Intermediate skill level, having said that, Faith has an excellent tutorial on her blog for anyone new to foundation paper piecing. The pattern includes templates that you can photocopy for your quilt.
She has chosen a beautiful collection of fabrics to use including (clockwise from top right))
Serpentine Shade from Tula Pink
Jones Starred - Citron from V&A
Bloom Mosaic Deepwater from Joel Dewberry
Mary Thistle Seaweed from Anna Maria Horner
Flora Stripe Grass from Dennis Bennett
Blockade Blossom Chrimson from Joel Dewberry
Tulips in Tangerine from Joel Dewberry
Beekeeper Coral from Bonnie Christine
Honey House Sunflower from Bonnie Christine
Branches Charcoal from Carolyn Friedlander
They can be substituted for the solids used in the pattern and are going to make a cheery, happy quilt for someone.
The kit includes all of the fabric you need for the quilt top and binding including 2/3 yards of each of the fabrics listed above, 7 yards of Eggshell from Free Spirit Solids, and an extra 2/3 yard of the Serpentine Shade for binding.
To finish the quilt, you will need the equivalent of 4 yards of fabric for the backing (I suggest piecing together larger pieces from your stash, Faith does this on most of her quilts and it's stunning), and 68x80" of batting.
